2012 Fat Bike Races

December 9-10th –  Sheep Mtn Bike 100 – Sheep Mountain Lodge, AK 25-150 miles

December 17-March 3rd – Abominable Snow Series – Anchorage, AK

January 8th – Hillside Cold Bear Challenge – Elk River, MN (first of 3 races in a series) –  15 miles

January – April 7th – Winter Mountain Bike Race SeriesLeadville, CO – 12 miles (approximately)

January 15th – Triple D – Dubuque, IA –  65 miles unsupported

January 30th – Arrowhead 135  – International Falls, MN – 135 miles (point to point)

February 18th – Susitna 100 – Wasilla, AK – 50k and 100 miles

February 25th – Fatbike Frozen 40 –  Maple Grove, MN – 40 miles (three 13 mile laps)

February 26th – Iditarod Trail Invitational – Anchorage to Nome, AK – 350 and 1000 miles

March 25th – White Mountains 100  – Fairbanks, AK – 100 miles

March 24-2th – Equinox Ski Challenge – West Yellowstone, MT – 3, 6, 12, 24 hour events


If you plan on doing one of these you better like the cold and pushing your limits to their maximum.  Snowbiking or Fat biking isn’t for everyone.  Though if you own a fat bike I couldn’t imagine you never doing one of these races.  Fat Bikes are on the move are you?
