Seattle Bike Expo Cool Finds

I just spent the afternoon at the Seattle Bike Expo located at the new Smith Cove Cruise Terminal 91 in Magnolia. While window shopping through isle after isle of bike related stuff I found some very cool items. What I’m about to show you below is just a small sampling of the coolness the Expo had to offer. If you have time be sure to swing by Sunday.

Alchemy Goods Ditty Bag

This very cool piece by Alchemy Goods caught my eye. I used to have a ditty bag like this back in the day. It was not as cool and was not made from a truck tube. Perfect for travel or just a bag to stash some stuff.

Bike Tube Belt

I’ve used a bike tube for a belt but mine sure wasn’t this cool! Very stylish.

Honey Stinger Waffles

This taste little morsel was delicious. If you like ginger then try these! I thought it might be hard and crunchy but I was surprised to find it soft like a, well waffle (or a kitten. For you Robert). I high recommend you giving these Honey Stinger Waffles a try.

Light & Motion Head Strap

This is Light & Motion’s newly redesigned head mount strap for their Stella series head lamps. It’s fully adjustable to fit just about any mellon. The big change to this newer version is it will work with your Seca head lamp as well. You can never have too many lumens!

Fall 2011 Nomad Hoody

This little gem is not available until late August or September when Ibex’s Fall line comes out but it’s on my wish list already. If you’re familiar with Ibex’s fabric weights the Nomad is heavier than the Shak by a bit. The best way to describe it is to say it’s just like a heavy cotton hoody. It’s brushed on the inside so it’s super soft, has a full zip, zippered hand pockets, thumb loops, and a small pocket on the left sleeve.

Tech Pro Primal Socks

I got these from the Primal Wear Rep. Yeah those guys who make the beer jerseys and the rock n’ roll jerseys. If you’re like me you thought they only made that stuff. Well you’d be wrong just like me. These socks are part of their custom line. They have super plush padding on the heel all the way to the toes and the fit, like a glove! Checkout Primal’s full line up and be shocked as I was to find out just how much cool stuff they produce.
Get out there!
